The Cherokees like any other tribe have their own religions. They have two sacred number, the number four and the number seven. The number four represents the primary directions. Seven represents the seven directions , the north,south,east, west, above, below and here in the center. Seven also represented the religious ceremonies that took place during the year. six of the those ceremonies happened every year but the seventh ceremony happens every seven years. These ceremonies usually happened between march and november depending on the cycle of the moon.
